This August marks a major milestone for the broadband industry: the 30th anniversary of the SCTE Standards Program’s accreditation by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

We’re excited to announce that as of July 15, 2025, SCTE has fully transitioned to an automated remote proctoring model for all SCTE certification exams. This strategic shift is designed to streamline the certification process, reduce the burden on SCTE volunteers, and make certification more accessible and flexible for all exam candidates. All SCTE certification exams are now delivered exclusively through automated remote proctoring.
