Opting In or Out of Notification Settings

Opting In or Out of Notification Settings on SCTE.ORG

Purpose
This procedure describes how users can manage (opt in or opt out of) email and system notification preferences associated with their SCTE.org account.

Scope
Applies to all users with an active SCTE.org account, including members, volunteers, and staff.

1. Sign In to SCTE.org

      1. Navigate to https://www.scte.org.
      2. Select Log In.
      3. Enter your email and password.
      4. Click Continue.

2. Select Notification Settings under your profile

      1. Hover over your name at the top right side of the page..
      2. Click User Profile.
      3. Click Notification Settings.

3. Opt In or Opt Out under your profile

      1. For each notification category:
      2. Check the box to opt in.
      3. Uncheck the box to opt out.

4. Save Changes

      1. Select Update
