SCTE Excellence in Learning & Development Nomination Form
The Excellence in Learning and Development Award recognizes the achievements of learning and development professionals within the cable telecommunications community who have demonstrated significant success toward advancing the careers of others through the innovative use of cable telecommunications technology-centric curricula learning programs and/or presenting content in a way that improves the cable knowledge in the industry.
Eligibility:
The award will be presented to an industry learning and development professional with an active SCTE membership.
Selection Criteria:
The committee will select the winning recipient based on the nominee’s commitment to progressing the careers of others by helping them learn about cable telecommunications technology. This is demonstrated by the following:
Detailed, specific examples of innovative learning & development methodologies used to facilitate learning about cable telecommunications-related technology
Learning & Development activities that align with the Professional Development component of SCTE Mission: SCTE is dedicated to advancing the careers of cable telecommunications engineers through Professional Development, Information, and Standards.
Recognition:
The recipients will be formally recognized at SCTE TechExpo, in SCTE Interval and on the website at www.scte.org.
Nominations:
Nominations for the 2024 award are due by June 7, 2024.
