SCTE Members: Get Recognized for Your Military Service
As part of the Veterans Initiative, SCTE would like to better understand the status of military service currently within its current membership. Please take a moment to update your member profile in relation to your military status. This is optional; however, your participation will be beneficial as SCTE continues to grow its services and programs for military veterans and active members of the United States Armed Forces.
To update your military status, follow these 3 simple steps:
1. Log onto www.scte.org with your user name and password through the Login link
2. On your member profile page, click on the "Veteran Information" tab
3. Click the plus (+) sign to add new information or "edit" to change existing information then click "Save & Close."

Veteran Assistance Needed
SCTE is looking for SCTE members and military veterans currently employed in the industry to take part in focused networking resource groups. Participants will provide insight and advice to veterans looking to break into the cable industry.

SCTE Certifications Qualify for the G.I. Bill
SCTE Certifications are now approved for the G.I. Bill. SCTE Certifications Exams have been approved for Veteran Education under the provisions of Title 38, United States Code, Section 3689.
SCTE Foundation
Take advantage of funding opportunities for education and training. The SCTE Foundation provides grant money to technical professionals from all levels of the industry.
