Sooner State Chapter Virtual Training and Membership Appreciation Event: HFC Sweep & Balance TroubleshootingThis is a rebroadcast of the webinar hosted by the Buckeye Chapter of the SCTE.The subject matter of this webinar covers sweeping and balancing the hybrid fiber-coax network for DOCSIS 3.1. The meters referenced and demonstrated during the webinar include the DSAM and the ONX 630, which are very common to MSO’s affiliated with the Sooner State Chapter. Using these meters and tools as a reference, the attendees will have a better understanding of how to use them in maintenance and troubleshooting the HFC network.Speaker:Juan Castro, Technical Sales Support Engineer for Viavi Solutions, brings his 31 years of practical knowledge of the HFC plant to the training of DOCSIS 3.1 and beyond. Juan has had the opportunity to work with multiple MSO’s over the years in a variety of roles as an Installer, Manager, Trainer and Director. During that time, he has presented training sessions throughout North America and South America. Juan is an active member of the SCTE with over 28 years affiliated with the Southern California Chapter.Where: The Sooner State Chapter presents this webinar as a virtual session.When: Wednesday, September 20, 2017 From: 9am – 2pmThe first session is from 9am – 12pm and the second is 11am – 2pm.
