Operators are entering a brave new world of deploying Gigabit Services. Previously, this might imply FTTH, but DOCSIS 3.1 has opened up new cable based possibilities. The webinar will review key D3.1 benefits and their potential capacity on real HFC plants. We will show some network capacity trends and how to manage traffic engineering in this new world. Finally, we will investigate the implications of offering symmetric Gigabit services with DOCSIS latest advancements in Virtualization, Full Duplex and Extended Spectrum.
