Please participate in a battery training workshop hosted by SCTE Bluegrass Chapter on Wednesday, April 28th at 10:00am EST to hear East Penn Mfg. Co. personnel speak on the advantages of lead battery technology utilized in telecommunications, outdoor broadband, and other CATV applications. The presentation is titled, “Value Proposition of Lead Battery Technology,” as lead battery chemistry generates an immense value for any decision maker in the storage industry - due to its end of life sustainability as well as performance and reliability. Topics will include analyzing the manufacturing/sustainability/handling/chemistry differences of lead when compared to lithium as well as a deeper dive into the diverse VRLA battery possibilities including gel, AGM, Bipolar, and DEKA Fahrenheit.
