You’ll learn the basics of fiber from cables and connectors to wavelengths and throughput including how to be safe when working with fiber optics. Next, Optical Line Terminals (OLT) to Optical Network Units (ONU) to understand the distribution. Now dive into Fiber-To-The-X (FTTx) solutions to understand fiber taps, drop networks and installing connectors. Finally, how to test and prove the speed and throughput exist to ensure your customer’s that fiber services are the future; and the future is NOW!
