Business Class Services Specialist (Self-Paced)

The Business Class Services Specialist (BCSS) course provides an in-depth discussion of business class services from fundamentals to intermediate knowledge, including how to install and troubleshoot today's cable operator business services for small-to-medium businesses. The successful student will have the business services knowledge that instills employer confidence, employee value and favorably affects the metrics of the customer experience. The business services training will bridge knowledge gaps between the RF and IP services needed to support larger business networks.

Description:

The Business Class Services Specialist (BCSS) course provides an in-depth discussion of business class services from fundamentals to intermediate knowledge, including how to install and troubleshoot today's cable operator business services for small-to-medium businesses. The successful student will have the business services knowledge that instills employer confidence, employee value and favorably affects the metrics of the customer experience. The business services training will bridge knowledge gaps between the RF and IP services needed to support larger business networks.


Format: Online

Participants view pre-recorded, narrated presentations and complete learning activities at any time that is convenient for them. Participants are encouraged to contact the instructor for questions and discussion.   
  
Participants spend approximately 4-8 hours per week, completing the various course activities in order to maximize the learning benefits. It is recommended to complete this course in 10 weeks. A certificate is awarded at the conclusion of the course. Completion of the course evaluation is required in order to receive the certificate.

TheThe Business Class Services Specialist (BCSS) performs business-level installations, disconnects, pre-wires, change of service, and multiple tenant unit (MTU) wiring for small to medium business class customers. The BCSS troubleshoots the service drop from the tap or node to the customer's equipment as required to repair or restore the customer's business service.
