ADMISSIONS PROCESS


Registration for the 2015 program will open in September.
 

Because of the interactive nature of the program, the number of participants is limited. Early application is encouraged as qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis and the program is expected to fill quickly. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if space remains in the class.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Admission to this program is competitive and is based on professional achievement and organizational responsibility. A college degree is not required, but instead, work performance, scope of responsibility and leadership potential are the most important considerations in the application process. Though there is no formal educational requirement, fluency in written and spoken English in a necessity for participation in the program.

APPLICATION PACKAGE

All applicants must submit a complete application package that consists of:

  • Personal Application Form
  • Company Application/Approval
  • Organizational Chart — the chart must show the applicant’s position in the organization.

The package is then reviewed by the Admissions Committee before a place on a program can be confirmed.


CANCELLATION POLICY

After acceptance into the program is confirmed, withdrawal from the program may result in a cancellation fee dependent upon timing. 

SUBSTITUTION POLICY

If your schedule changes and you can no longer attend the program, you may be able to send a qualified colleague in your place. All substitutes require prior approval from the Admissions Committee. Therefore, any requests for substitutes must be submitted in writing to the Committee at least two weeks prior to the start of the program. The new participant will also need to complete the application form and obtain the necessary sponsoring statement and corporate, HR approval.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Financial assistance may be possible through the SCTE Foundation. Visit http://foundation.scte.org for details. Tuition is due upon acceptance into the program, so it is highly recommended that you apply to the SCTE Foundation for possible assistance at the same time you submit your application to the SCTE Admissions Committee.
