SCTE SEEKS PROPOSALS FOR ITS CONFERENCE ON BROADBAND LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT 2010
MAY 25, 2010 (Exton, PA)—The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) today has sounded the call for proposals for educational, Learning & Development (L&D), and human performance improvement-related topics to be presented at its 2010 Conference on Broadband Learning & Development (CBL&D), which is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 19 in New Orleans.
Proposals addressing the specific topics outlined and described in the Call for Papers will be given priority. The Call for Papers document can be accessed at www.scte.org by clicking on the Event Calendar section of the website and then the Call for Papers link in the upper-left corner, or by clicking on http://www.scte.org/content/index.cfm?pID=193.
The deadline to submit proposals is Friday, June 25, 2010.
The SCTE CBL&D Program Committee is particularly interested in proposals that address topics affecting today’s L&D challenges relating specifically to the cable telecommunications industry. The preferred topics for CBL&D 2010 are:
Mobile Learning: Alternative Learning Strategies in Learning & Development
New Product and Technology Training
Training the Frontline Trainer
Technical Supervisor Development
Professional Online Community of Practice
