SCTE•ISBE IP Challenge

Get ready to test your IP Knowledge!

The annual SCTE•ISBE IP Challenge provides cable professionals an opportunity to showcase their IP knowledge by competing in a blended-style Jeopardy match that includes traditional questions, router and CMTS configuration, and hands-on activities. The SCTE•ISBE IP Challenge consists of two online virtual qualifier matches and an in-person live final, during SCTE•ISBE Cable-Tec Expo® 2017, which utilizes hands-on activities to bridge traditional RF to IP knowledge transfer.

From the customized online virtual qualifier matches eight participants will be selected for the live, in-person finals during Cable-Tec Expo. These eight participants will receive a Complimentary Full Conference Registration to Cable-Tec Expo, where they will compete against one another as well as the defending 2016 IP Challenge Champion in the live IP Challenge final. Who will be crowned this year’s champion?

Last Year’s winner

Alexander E. Morong of Cable ONE – 2016 winner

Last year we saw some exciting battles amongst competitors striving for those elusive top 8 positions. But it was Alexander E. Morong of Cable ONE that took first place at the final live event at the Cable-Tec Expo 2016. What did he win for all his efforts? Robert was awarded the IP Challenge title, one full-conference pass to Cisco Live, and one full-conference pass to SCTE Cable-Tec Expo 2017, where he will defend his title during the 2017 Live IP Challenge Final on Thursday, October 19th in Denver. Our congratulations go out to Alexander and we are patiently waiting to see if he will come back this year to hold on to that title!
