Purpose:
This award honors outstanding technical achievements and contributions made to the advancement of the cable telecommunications industry by a young Canadian engineering professional. The Young Canadian Engineering Professional of the Year Award is made possible through the sponsorship of Aurora Networks and the efforts of Cartt.ca and SCTE.
Eligibility and Criteria:
A Canadian engineering professional, resident of Canada, who is an SCTE member, under the age of 35 as of December 31, 2010, and has displayed outstanding technical achievements and contributions to the advancement of the cable telecommunications industry.
Nominations:
Anyone may nominate a young engineering professional SCTE member, under the age of 35 as of December 31, 2010, for this award.NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2011 AWARD ARE CLOSED.
Recognition:
The distinguished recipient will receive a complimentary registration to the 2011 SCTE Canadian Summit held March 8-9, 2011 in Toronto, Ontario and one night's hotel stay. The recipient will be recognized and presented with a special award during the luncheon on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, and also honored by SCTE in various industry promotions.
