The standards listed below have been approved by the SCTE Engineering Committee as SCTE standards. Some have additionally been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and are so designated. The SCTE approval date is shown - where the date is in the form YYYYRYYYY the standard was approved in the first year and reaffirmed the second year. If you do not know the SCTE number, but do know the internal project code, refer to the second sheet of the project register to find the SCTE number.
NEW FEATURE: Standards on the SCTE web site may now be searched for key words. Using Google, search for:
"text to be found" site:http://www.scte.org/documents/pdf/standards
The search will return all instances of "text to be found" in the current versions of approved SCTE standards.
Approved SCTE standards are available at no charge for electronic copies; click on the title of the standard to download the desired standard in PDF format. Paper copies, subscriptions, and related materials are available from IHS, Techstreet and the ANSI Standards Store.

NOTE: Electronic availability of SCTE standards is for use by the recipient only. SCTE retains the copyright on these documents, and does not authorize any other use including, but not limited to, distribution to others, reproduction, sale, incorporation into other documents or databases in part or whole, without SCTE’s written permission. SCTE also does not authorize their sale or commercialization in any form except by agents authorized by SCTE in writing.
Standards which are not approved, and which are not referenced in approved standards, are no longer available outside the SCTE Standards Program because their accuracy and currency cannot be guaranteed. Anyone who needs one of these documents should contact the SCTE standards staff.
Draft standards that are referenced within an approved SCTE standard are available on request. Contact the SCTE Standards staff for assistance at standards@www.scte.org.
If you know the standard by its old designation (e.g. IPS TP 001), but not the approved designation, you can use the Project Register to find the appropriate designation. The Project Register includes SCTE documents which have not been approved, but which are referenced in approved standards. These are available on request from the SCTE Standards Secretariat.
