SCTE and a host of Canadian engineering professionals joined at the 2010 SCTE Canadian Summit where they explored engineering issues specific to the Canadian market. Building off the success of the inaugural SCTE Canadian Summit, hundreds of cable telecommunications professionals from Canada and the United States attended the two-day event and broadened their knowledge during two days of exhibits, technical breakout sessions, general sessions, and networking opportunities. In addition to a diverse program agenda, highlights included an inaugural Innovation Showcase; exhibits by more than 60 vendors; and a first-ever pre-conference “Frontline Night” that was designed to broaden the industry knowledge of customer-facing personnel.

Young Canadian Engineering Professional of the Year Award
SCTE and Canadian Summit attendees honored excellence in the cable telecommunications industry during the Canadian Summit on Tues., March 9. The 2010 Young Canadian Engineering Professional of the Year award was presented on behalf of Sandip Singh of Rogers Communications for his outstanding achievements and contributions made to the advancement of the cable telecommunications industry by a young Canadian engineering professional.
