Prospective participants may submit their application materials for the 2018 program at any time before the application deadline. All applicants to the program will receive an email confirmation within three business days of
SCTE•ISBE’s receipt of their application materials. Applicants will be notified of their admission status no later than four weeks after submitting the application. Program tuition is payable upon notice of acceptance. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent after receipt of the full tuition payment.
Because of the interactive nature of the program, the number of participants is limited. Early application is encouraged as qualified candidates are admitted on a rolling, space-available basis and the program is expected to fill quickly. Applications received after the deadline will be considered only if space remains in the class.
Admission to this program is competitive and is based on professional
achievement and organizational responsibility. A college degree is not required,
but instead, work performance, scope of responsibility and leadership potential
are the most important considerations in the application process. Though there
is no formal educational requirement, fluency in written and spoken English in a
necessity for participation in the program.

After acceptance into the program is confirmed, withdrawal from the program
must be submitted in writing. SCTE•ISBE maintains a waiting list. SCTE•ISBE will attempt to fill your seat from the waiting list or through marketing promotions. If your seat is filled, you will receive a full refund. In the event that we cannot fill your seat, cancellation dates for the Spring 2018 program are:
- For cancellations made on or before April 2, 2018, 100% of paid fees
will be refunded.
- For cancellations made between April 3 and April 9, 2018, 50% of paid
fees will be refunded.
- For cancellations made after April 9, 2018, paid fees will not be
